Several years ago the two of us were at a crossroads. The direction we were headed was no longer working. Living in Carmel, California we had worked hard to build a successful construction company and we owned some real estate investments. Life looked good. We had a loving relationship and meaningful connections with other people. To any casual observer, we had it all.

Deep down, however, something was missing. We had become so focused on the financial and business aspects of our lives, that we eventually lost touch with what would bring real meaning and fulfillment to our daily experience.

Both of us felt an internal lack of ease and uncertainty. Suddenly, we found ourselves in transition and knew our time in construction was over, but we were not yet clear what was next. Faced with new choices, we had no idea how to navigate our way toward the rumblings that were bubbling from within. This began a fundamental reorganization of our priorities.

For over 25 years, we each had been involved in business and personal development trainings. We were especially fascinated with the process of inner development and the way it shaped our outer success and effectiveness. We loved sharing our knowledge with others and had fruitfully applied much of what we learned to our own lives.

But there was one area that we had yet to conquer. We had often talked about creating our own success programs and had even developed some materials. But neither of us took the next steps to make this into our career. Fear and circumstances seemed to keep getting in our way until we eventually lost sight of this calling.

Then through a frightening incident (and fortunately a temporary one) with Mark's health, we both came face to face with the pain of our unfulfilled aspirations. From this, we shared a powerful experience that gave us a new understanding of what life truly had to offer. We discovered an unusual clarity—a knowing beyond what either of us had ever realized. Through this process, our vision became clear. We were to help people learn how to elevate their own life experience in business, relationships and in bringing greater meaning and fulfillment to ones daily experience. We began teaching people how to discover the same kind of interior clarity that we had now established for ourselves.

This would become our mission in life, that other people could now more easily navigate the kind of changes we had faced, only with better skills and confidence.

The more we talked, the more we knew this was to be. Mark would focus on the more strategic aspects and Desirée the internal development. During our transition, we sought out mentors, coaches, healers and trainers to support us in moving forward. We learned from the best of the best. We found dynamic, cutting edge technologies for eliminating beliefs, managing stress and emotions, and we created a durable, no nonsense framework for powerfully navigating transition. But what excited us most was the fact that other people would benefit from our knowledge and experience, and could circumvent many of the mistakes we had made.

In other words, we knew that what we had developed could short cut the process for others, saving them much time, frustration, money and discomfort. With our knowledge and skills we had the ability to show people how to find real clarity with their own vision and how to achieve it with much greater velocity than we had done.
